No idea, maybe the left hand not seeing what the right hand is doing?

I honestly don't know, but it's the update from the same article.

Yeah...I read the Kotaku article. Midway's got their heads up their buttocksesses.

As it turns out, only the European PS3 release is delayed.

Not that it matters, as I'm importing the Collector's Edition, reviews pending.

Incidentally, Stranglehold Collector's Edition PS3 is confirmed to be region-free.

Midway was originally going to release it region coded, but the fans revolted and Midway conceded the point a few days ago:

Import away, Thom!

Oh yeah, I knew that, hence why I was going to import, I just want to see what the general consensus of the game is first.

John Woo's Stranglehold, the upcoming sliding-across-things simulator, has been slightly delayed. Originally scheduled for an August 27th release on the Xbox 360, the retail version won't see shelves until September 5th.

The PlayStation 3 version is not delayed. It was and remains scheduled for release on September 17th.

Actually it'd be 'oh no' if it was grammatically correct.

Teh cell spoke to them in their dreams, telling them they must delay it and use its power. Midway isn't foolish enough to ignore teh cell. EA suffered teh wrath of teh almighty cell, and set an example for all future devs. Are all these delays coincedence? I think not!
