gears looks better than killzone.
Killzone has that washed out, matte/powdery look to it, which detracts from the realism. Gears still holds up and looks better, WAY better textures.

honestly, i think Halo 3 looks the best still, even after playing bioshock....

I voted Killzone because Crysis wasn't in the poll. I seriously can't believe people are actually voting for Halo 3 though. I guess it just shows "the blindness".

My bad.. Crysis would have been the 10th choice. Oh well. SSBB best looking?

There's more to graphics than technical prowess.

It says best looking shooter not which shooter has the best graphics. I personally think the best looking shooter so far been shown in game is Crysis followed by Killzone. Nothing about Halo 3 has ever wowed me as far as presentation is concerned.
