It's an abuse of in-game physics. Therefor, should be banned, I assume that the dev team know though.

I am changing my view to, no.
__________________  Star Wars is the most mainstream Sci-Fi, but once you compare it to The X Files, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, or Babylon 5, the quality definitely isn't there. The sliding part is intentional, but not the rest of the move. They never meant it to be used the way it was.

And how do you know the developers didn't want the wavedash to be used like it is today? Were you there? The developers obviously knew about it, and could've taken a few minutes to change the lag time after the wavedash so it couldn't be used effectively, but they didn't.
