What Halo does, and why so many people enjoy it

i have really got high hopes after that article, the best part for me was the point about the golden triangle. Because the use of melee with the machine gun in halo 1 and the "moist" thud it used to make was a very satisfying part of the campaign, especially when there was all those grunts asleep in that ice level

Here i was thinking we were in the debating section of the forums. If you're not allowed to *not* praise halo until the cows come home, why dont you move it to the xbox section?

My summary was 'Halo was marketted well, thats why people liked it", Its unfortunate some people cant see past their rage at a non-100% halo praise post to read further into it.

Anyway, i don't think a bad game would have gotten those scores... or sold that much...

You may not like it, but that doesn't make it a bad game, theres a lot of games i dont like, but i know they're great games still.

You can say that halo is over-rated without saying it completely sucks. It isnt the worst game ever made by any means.
