| Source is good, but I'm pretty sure they cost a but load^^ plus from experiance it's easy to use the Unreal engine then it is to use the souce engine. That's probably why developers love the UE3 engine. There is evidence of that if you look at the mod survival rate of hl2 compared to ut2004. I'm tellin you though CryEngine is where its at from a mappers perspective at least...Can't wait to see the source code if they release it...so? Still looks awesome...

| I'll use GMOD as my example since it uses the physics engine the most for entertainment perpouses. perhaps this is a better example of the souce engines potential...gameplay wise. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foBmBF5Hxnc The website for the game http://www.garrysmod.com/ results from the GMOD modding community(note this is a little different then the souce engine modding, but still demonstrates its potential) http://www.garrysmod.org/downloads/?tag=save just flip through the different topics there are loads of stuff(note it's not censored although I don't think most people here care) srysly though waa_waa that was pretty biased...

| Source Engine is a good engine, but there are far better looking engines out there. Also, Polymer, that video was unbelievable boring. |

He's demonstrating how awesome the game's physics and visuals are. I don't see where he stated he played the entire game to watch the animation of the building collapsing. And don't you dare tell me the destruction of that building wasn't awesome. It adds a lot to the presentation. You Wiitards act like it's something entirely negligible and try to ignore the fact that the Wii can't do anything like it. |

It was cool to see all the pieces flying off, but that's nowhere near how the building would have crumbled... it's nice to watch it happen, but not impressive in regards to physics. edit- nvm, I just watched it again. I'd originally thought it was exploding at a different angle, that's pretty good.

| It was shot with a fricking laser. Show me any video with a building being blown up with a laser...
