Halo 3's influence?

How much will halo 3 actually boost the sales of the 360?

Think about this, there's already been a huge game on the 360(oblivion), a game that was supposed to be like halo 2 and a half(perfect dark 0) and a few other freat games. Halo 2 came out withing 6 months of the 360, meaning anyone who wanted a halo experience on the 360 has got it. So I really wonder the impact of halo 3. Yes, it's had alot of media attention. But all i can see this translating to is game sales, not console sales.

I do not own a 360 at the moment. I am getting one for Halo 3. (And now BioShock).

Many people have the same story. If you don't think that 360 sales will jump in September, you are insane.

Well, I guess you could think that. But that's like saying Wii console sales won't increase when their Mario games hit. I can't say I agree.

i think he's saying since it was less than a year after Halo 2's launch that the 360 launched, a lot of people got the 360 instead of an xbox to play halo 2. he's absolutely deluded, but meh.

The marketing push behind it will move at least 1 million consoles, not that they don't have desire to move more, but 1 million is the lowest I'd wager.

I don't think it will alone. More like a combination of the awesome games that are coming/are out on the console.
