maybe its got something to do with MGS4/FFXIII coming out, those are two of the biggest franchises over there, along with gundam and pokemon
people buy what they like, and the Japanese love those franchises, which are not on 360, so why buy a console without your favorite franchises on it?

if your a halo fan, why buy a ps3? get the logic?

Shooters have sold the most. The original lived and died on it's shooter. The 360 continues to live on as a western console with a massive focus on shooters.

And japs have very fickle taste in RPGs as well.

I don't see the point you are making. The Xbox 360 has more than just shooters. I know the Japanese don't like the Xbox 360 that much. Yes the shooters sell the most, but there games on the console that have sold more than one million units.
