They said they had shipped 11.6 million in June and now they are saying they've sold 11.6 million as of now. I know I'll probably get a backlash for saying this but it just seems really fishy, the way that the numbers are the same. Also the fact that the article from the Financial Times stated they were on 8.9 million counting NPD through July, Enterbrain (Japan) through August and GfK (Europe) through July. Are we expected to believe that the 360 has sold about 2 million in the other regions? 1 million I can deal with but not 2.

Well they usually come in the financial reports every quarter which is where the 11.6m shipped number comes from (the one released in June) so I don't know. It would be much better if they could give us a breakdown in each region. But of course we know they wouldn't since the Japan numbers would be too embarassing.
