I don't have to daydream about what I'd make if I were to make a video game - ten more days sees me back in the game programming saddle with Unreal Tournament III, bending the laws of space and time to create my latest creative vision.

I liked planetside. I played it while it was in beta, but once it released, I couldn't see paying $12/mo or whatever it was, it was fun, but not *that* fun.

I thought PLANETSIDE too, until I read, "PvP arenas, raids, bosses, quests". I don't how much of that is in there. I like the concept of planetside, it's fps skill>level. So a level 1 can kill a lvl 20 if he has played enough cs...

I have many crazy ideas for games, but few if any of them have any real merit for being executed well.

But in any case, here's one of my initial ideas:

A game that is:

• As broad and expansive as the Elder Scrolls
• As smooth and intuitive in combat as the Devil May Cry games
• As good-looking as Crysis

I might find some other ideas later.
