Default If you could...

If you had the power to "make" (more like choosing what it would be about) a game what would it be about?


I would make a fps/mmorpg like game.

Instead of clicking to attack you would actually attack, aim and shoot, gain exp, skills, etc.

It would be made by Blizzard.

You could travel to different planets, it would be a huge galaxy,a lot of HUGE planets, KotOR like.

And i know this is a cliche topic, but im curious about your opinions.

PvP arenas, raids, bosses, quests, and a matchmaking like service, where skilled didn't mattered, but you would have a rank, kinda like halo or something.

That would be awesome.

So, what about you guys?

Many years ago while in school, a friend and I had a plan for a game.

It was an action RPG but unlike RPGs of the PS days, it was a solid world, a complete world that you had to move across. There wasn't really a world map, there was just walking or driving and going from place to place (in real time) until you acquired the plane, and trying to finish the story (we had a full script for this thing bar a few sections near the end). It was going to be like 10 discs (it said so on a random page as a joke) and we hadn't taken the technical limits of the PlayStation into consideration, at all.

It was pretty much the most ambitious pre-production project ever undertaken and I can only imagine what the cost would have been to make anything close to it - in fact, it would probably only be coming out this year. The story was a bit cliche, bad government but there was no magic and limited use of swords, it was mostly guns, but it was going to be immersive.

I could imagine that on the current gen.

It would be cool.
