PS3 Handicap

Earlier today, i visited IGN and they had the review for Assassin's Creed for the 360 up.

I pretty much broke down, cried myself to sleep for a little bit, and when I woke up I checked the IGN website again looking for the PS3 review.

I thought to myself.... omg not again.

I'm pretty much tired of this, and not only did the reviewer not explain WHY it got a lower score both reviews were EXACTLY the same.

According to Gamespot, who gave both versions 9/10, the PS3 version has better frame rates while the 360 version has better lighting and that's the difference.

gamespot also game them identicle reviews citing the differences piratethom as the only difference between the games they declared it a wash. also 7.7/7.5 is a joke this game is like a 9

.2 difference really isn't enough to care about. Especially when most seem to think there is no difference in the game. It either means IGN is seeing things others aren't, or they hold PS3 games to a higher standard. I suppose they could be biased as well but we can't just go making crazy accusations like that.

Even though it was only .2, I would be a bit angry if it was 360.

They should at least explain themselves.

It could the game case as well. Maybe the reviewer really likes green. I could see that adding .2 to a score.

There seems to be a lot of confusion, some reviewers have found the 360 version to have framerate issues, while some have found the PS3 version, which is why they rated it 0.2 lower, they didn't get the issues on the 360 version.

I think it'll be discovered, both versions have some slowdown, but I wasn't expecting it to always be running smoothly.
