I'm not a fan of controlling things with the keyboard. Pretty much the only PC games I play are ones that use the mouse exclusively or have very little use of the keyboard.

No, you're not the only one. The one thing I like Kb/M for is strategy games. I just haven't found the controller to be very easy to use for these. I definitely prefer a controller for shooters though. One, I like being on the couch. Two I like using my bigger TV, though the PS3 may allow this in shooters at some point. Three, I don't like having to hunch over a table/desk for the mouse to sit on. Four, I don't like having to whip the mouse around. Moving just my thumb is more relaxing to me. Not too mention you don't have to worry about catching spots where the mouse doesn't move correctly or gets stuck or shoots across the screen.

The joystick will never be as fast or accurate as the Kb/M but I've found that those things aren't really required to make a good fun shooter and even matches can be competitive like this.

PC users will always say it's more fun being able to headshot someone from a mile away but in the grand scheme of things, that's only one minor part of what makes a game fun.

A positive from controllers is that obstacles are easier to maneuver with analog control since it doesn't work as on on/off.

I've played Half-Life with a touchpad when there weren't any spare controllers. My strategy was to try to always get shotguns and the gun that shoots orange homing bugs.

no it doesn't. I said THAT aspect. Waiting for the grapple to appear DOES suck, but it has never bothered me. That's also NOTHING to do with Wii controls. Once the grapple appears, it works fine.
