Its still a game where you use Lightsabers though.

[We'll have to wait for SW:TFU or LSW to get 1:1 lightsaber action]

have seen bleach, it's more than safe to say that those guys swing swords way faster than sora has shown even in KH 2

all his most impressive blade swinging was during reaction comands

swing up-1 slash
swing down-1 slash

1 waggle in vertical motion gets you 2 slashes

there's also sideways cuts, and thrusting attacks, and the faster you go the faster the characters swing, it's very possible

youtube Bleach Wii or Bleach shattered blade

moving and and attacking would be simple

for the magic shortcuts, hold a button while doing one of the 3 slashes(which would work since they've all had only 3 spells in the shortcut menu)

(could be B)

have a button to jump

(could be Z)

have a button for action(like X, to look at items and as secondary attacks)

(could be A)

camera
(D-pad)

and you still have 1,2,-,and + for anything else

Chibi is right.

You haven't noticed the wii remote registers [nearenoughto] instantly?

actually it is very sensitive on that game, even if you were to drop the controlers you may get a 2-3 hit combo in

that and Willay is exaggerating the speed at which Sora swings his key blade(s)

it depends on how sensitive the devs make it

Sora actually does swing the keyblades very fast in some of his forms (particularly Master Form) in KH2. His swing recovery from air-to-landing into a ground combo, as well as from a ground combo into an air combo is also instantaneous.

You could compensate somewhat by reducing the input and putting in multiple swings per input, but doing something Twilight Princess-ish with waggle would not work well IMO. The Wiimote is pretty bad at accurately measuring heavy shaking - anyone who's played Twilight Princess on Wii will notice that you don't always get sword swings every time you shake the controller (and in any case, that gets so tedious over time that most people wind up just using the A button anyway).

did you watch the Wii bleach vids

they swing faster than Sora ever could, it's actually you doing the swinging

you probably shouldn't use TP as a reference as it's just a GC game with waggle added

the Bleach game picks up every up, down, left, right, and stab motion

whether you got quick or slow is up to the user

TP controls weren't very sensitive at all, not compared to this game, which shows that it could be done

Are you talking about Bleach: Shattered Blade?

Gametrailers.com - Bleach: Shattered Blade - Review

Those sword swings are simulated - as I mentioned above as a possibility, they're strung together off of a single Wiimote swing.

I haven't played this game on the Wii so I might be wrong, but a quick breeze at three different reviews all mention how inaccurate the swing detection is in this game. Are you sure you want to use it as an argument in this context?

the swings are only inaccurate when the characters clash (both using a critical hit at the same time, and the face off afterwards)

Chibi has done a 20 hit combo with only stabs, and no they're not strung together from one swing you can slash 3 times and the character stops after 3 hits
