The reason I don't "believe" in graphics anymore is because, if we take the FPS genre as an example. It feels like I have been playing the same game, in the same manner, over and over with just better graphics since 1995. Nothing has changed.

Same can be said about most other genres.

Definitely, I think most people were just outright shocked when Beautiful Katamari was announced as 360 exclusive.

Exactly... To be fair tilting is a motion and it is being used to control... I know it's not even technically motion control but, if you think about it tilt sensing is almost a sub group of motion control.

Actually rotating the block by rotating the controller would be different.

With SMG and SSBB out now/soon and if they were to make a Pikmin 3, I'd probably have to buy a Wii again. I sold it while I could at a decent price still to get the 360 and the great games it had coming out for it this fall. But, I always thought that maybe further in the Wii cycle when some great games are coming out/been out I might have to get one again; it should be cheaper by then anyway right? Anyway, Pikmin 3 might be the game that would make me do that... That and a new, Wii specific Zelda.

Really? Resident Evil 4 looks alright, but don't forget, it is a last gen game that was directly ported. DS games are rated on different scales than console games.

That's because you can have three genres in FPS: futuristic, contemporary or World War II. It's the setting that makes it boring, but the same gameplay can be taken from one FPS and pasted directly to another with new textures. Red Steel is still probably the best FPS of this gen (minus the sword segments), just because it combined light gun with movement.

And Red Steel did something new instead of just changing the graphics it changed means of input.

But I feel I'm responsible for dragging this thread off topic so I'm sorry respond to this post if you want Mr. Pirate but I won't respond to it in this thread anymore because I feel it's not the place.

Let me tell you something about SIXAXIS. It's functional, but not for full control like in Lair or Motorstorm.

In Resistance online, you can use it as an alternative to buttons to bring up the map or scoreboard by tilting the controller left or right.

In Heavenly Sword, you can have slight control over arrows and thrown items by tilting it, as an alternative to sticks.

In Rainbow Six Vegas, you can use it as optional controls for the snake cam.

SIXAXIS tilt seems to work when it's used like it's an extra button or an addition. Super Rub-a-Dub and Toy Home work to varying degrees, but they both get frustrating because it's not accurate enough.
