Link would have to much trouble. Can you imagine him trying to talk, to get info from people? he will end up groaning and stuff.

Have you played God of War? He wasn't even scared of GODS! I'd be much more scared of a giant minotaur with a huge axe charging at me than some random zombie creature.

I'll say this again, Kratos is OWNING in this thread. He's damn popular (because he would actually own in most games). Even more unmentioned games include Tekken (and most other fighting games), G1 Jockey (he rode pegasus while being attacked by creatures), any wrestling game, Devil May Cry.

hell yeah i played it lol MY fav Ps2 game other than MGS series. Silent hill is just scary . I would like to see Link in God of war

Actually there is one character that no one has mentioned. This character would be the best of all of them... including Kratos. He would easily be the best in any action/adventure game whether it be Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry, God of War, Zelda, Metroid, Halo, Pokemon, Mario, Heavenly Sword etc.
It's Goku. Think about it... what game couldn't he be the best? If he's fighting at max power too. That goes for any action/adventure/fightin game.

I think the Minotaurs would hack Link into pieces quite easily. Link has NO chance.
