| DKC4 ![]() Anyway, some new IPs would be nice... but a good game is a good game to me. Unless the new IP is introducing some truly new concepts I don't really care who the main character is. I'd prefer an old IP with fresh ideas to a new IP that introduces nothing innovative. I think that's what it boils down to for most people. They want new IPs for new experiences, not just a new coat of paint on old game play mechanics and would prefer an old IP with innovative stuff to a new IP with recycled ideas.

| everyone whine about new IP but who buys them? if look at sales you'll see that sequels almost always out sale the original games, even when people say the 1st was better GI even did a report on this stuff, the year they did it every top selling game (with the exception of 2) where sequels people are quick to say something's rehash but apparently that's what they want Wii's most anticipated titles Brawl, Mario kart, Galaxy, Metroid Prime, new Zelda 360's most anticipated Halo3, gears 2, DMC 4, GTA4, Fable 2 Ps3's R&C, Jak & Dax, Metal Gear Solid 4, FF13 |

| People like sequels, but they also need a healthy mix of new IPs. Based on the GameCube and games like Doshin the Giant or Pikmin, Wii will be no different.
