| The top 360 and PS3 games are mostly some type of shooter or a game which has an overdose of death. I wonder why this is so, I miss games like Sonic and Mario where you don't have to murder people with some type of gun. FPS, I wish they would put that much more effort into non FPS games and make it fun without having to confess your sins after each game. Atleast there is good old Wii which makers tend not to make it have to be to voilent but addicting and fun. Sometimes I feel like playing games like Zak wiki instead of Death con murder:the redemption of evil. part 45. I don't know why I have this feeling. 360 needs more viva pinita and PS3 needs more rachet and clank . Just my bowl of ramen.

| Yeah, because in Mario, jumping on defenceless creatures heads and shooting fireballs at them isn't violent? The fact is, some people like their games to have a bit of bite. Violence isn't a necessity for a good game, but it can add to the atmosphere of games that are suited to it.

| I agree. Not every game needs a gun. I think also we should stop 3d sonics and go back to 2d slider but with new games. both would be good but both are not going to happen. PS3 and 360 beleive, rightfully that they can make more $ of FPS and they'll stick with that strategy till death.

| I know what you mean, but contrary to popular belief, games are not aimed at kids. Console makers specifically go for a narrow demographic, 16-30 year old males. It's why the 360 is a traditionally a shooter console and the PS3 has a bit more diversity, but still has mostly shooty, bloody violent games. Nintendo don't go after that demographic and never really have, which is why Mario is still so popular. My kids will be raised on a staple diet of manly action films, but this isn't about me!
