FPS: PC vs. Console, which is better?

but truly PC is so much better, better graphics, bigger games, better controls long as you got a rig to play it on

PC for now is about perfect, but I'm still eager to see whats to come with the wiimote. Depends on how big FPS gets on the Wii, I suppose.

I also like console because less moders. And when there are they're easier to get rid of. At least on the 360. I like to play the games legit. Although I have to admit they are cool and fun when you're doing them. But I hate it when I'm just trying to play a normal match.

= for me. I can perform just as well on a console as I do on PC and I perform very good on PC. Finishing in the top 5 in most games.

Graphics on PC arent always better... GRAW2 looks better on 360 then PC, same with R6:V (the PS3 and 360 both beat the PC version) and it doesnt matter how fast your rig is, the maximum options are still the maximum options. It took me a long while to get used to playing FPS on consoles as I used to be a dyed in the wool PC gamer, but once I got it my skill only improved.

Things I like about PC over Console, ability to mod and add on to the game (but still this is limited to the game and how the developer chooses to allow you to mod it, same can be done on PS3 or 360) cheaper games and more games.

Things I hate about PC over console, no standard, so bug fixes and patches are major, cheating and hacking is rampant, system reqs are usally far higher then they are then to run on a console at the same graphics level. User advantage due to having more money so they get a faster PC and faster NIC etc, not nessasarily skill wins the match but money.

Generally I find that people who dislike FPS on consoles do because they just plain cannot use the controller for it.. (thats how I was) or they are just too closed minded. In fact I am currently playing Crysis on my PC with my 360 controller after playing half with the keyboard and mouse... response time is the same and its just as smooth.

ahhh, I had a massive typo up there. but i just edited. so people who sigged me, know that it was just a typo because they play much better on PC.

also all the main tornament games are still low req games... ala counter strike, wolfenstien enemy territory etc

Oh I know Crysis fails, except the sechsy gfx. the AI and storyline are flatter then my first girlfriend. My point was the control between KB/M then back to Controller has such slight differences in reaction and smoothness that its damn near impossible to tell. I also find the controls more responsive (kb/m wise) on it then on UT3 or ETQW

I can never get the hang of mouse and keyboard, so I'm going to say console solely for control. If I had been born about 5 years earlier, it'd be PC.
