Of course there is blame on MS's part, but they dealt with the problem now we can move on.

Fyrus's point really only applies to Sony fanboys who ridicule the 360 for its reliabilty issues.

If the 360 was the 1st console you ever owned, I doubt you'd care how well the PS2 worked.

I guess that's fair, but I'm pretty sure almost all the people on this site had a PS2.

You call putting a warranty on it dealing with the problem? What happens once your warranty is gone?

The problem with the Xbox 360 is that it has a high failure rate while in warranty. Even though MS will fix the problem for free, you still have to go through the hassle of sending it in for repair and waiting to get one back. If the system was reliable, you'd wouldn't need to go through this hassle in the first place.

I'd rather have a failure in warranty that won't cost me anything to fix, than a failure out of warranty that will cost a lot to replace/fix.

Good question. What does happen then? By that time you would think all the shitty 360s would be gone. We shall see.

I read some of it. The workers sucked, MS knew it had problems but they wanted to beat Sony. Sony knew that the PS2 would die, but they continued, however they didn't help anyone when theirs did die.
