Default Halo 3 is on sale?!!??

So I checked the Best Buy ad and saw that Halo 3 is on sale for 37.99. This is quite interesting if you ask me. Are they experiences a lull in sales? The previous Halo games seemed to retain their prices a lot longer. Your thoughts?

The game just has a lot better competition nowadays. I think CoD:4 has actually surpassed it in the amount of players on XBL even...

It's taken a nose dive in price here as well, maybe everyone already has it.

Considering how many copies it has sold, I would say that they are just trying to get it to the people who didnt want to pay $60 for Halo, but would now pick it up. Its not because nobody wants the game, the sales of it speak for themselves. They have made their money back multiple times, they just want more people to buy it.

But I am kind of mad that the Legendary is selling so cheap. I would have though that that package would have sold out on day one. Now that they are selling it so cheap...kinda bothers me that I paid full price for it on launch day.

I have a theory that like the Collector's Tin versions of games you can get years afterwards, that Legendary wasn't limited at all. I don't think they ever said it would be.

They most defenitly said it was limited, I remember reading it. They made a specific amount of them, and that was it. Unless they lied, and went back and made more to make more money, which I guess I wouldn't put past them.
