well then you're missing out man. I love my PS3 too, but it hasn't yet given me reason to strip 80% of my gaming time from my 360. And I own Uncharted, Ratchet, Heavenly Sword, Resistance and Singstar. All good games.

Halo 2.5 HD confirmed!!!

On a serious note, I didn't play too much of the campaign because I didn't overly enjoy it, but what I did see looked good and it was hard to complain.

I'm currently playing God of War and Rez HD.

Both systems have failed in their primary tasks.

Halo 3's visuals don't have the immediate impact of a lot of other games out there (unless you love being hit with vibrant colour).

But the actual engine it's running on, be it modified Halo 2 or not, is quite a good engine.

The lighting, physics, and scope of the environements are the best I've seen so far. All while running 30fps LOCKED and with some of the best AI I've experienced so far. You can't fault the engine.

Hopefully Bungie can push the engine further for the next Halo game. I know it wont be 4, but it will be a fourth game using a different story arc.

That's funny, I've been playing a shitload of Rez too. I even pulled out my Dreamcast the other day.

Dead characters can't be interacted with AT ALL, and disappear pretty quick. Lighting is meh if it even exists, and the physics aren't much to speak of. Not to mention the environments aren't very big.
Thank you for ruining the game for me.

I see what you're saying, though - I just never really thought about most of that stuff. The devs did say that destructible environments were just a "next gen fad" so they made it deliberately that way for a reason.

But you're telling me that the characters in Uncharted made you go "daaaaaaaammmmmnnnnnn" more than the scene in Gears when that huge alien shoved his sword through the bald dude?

I don't get to play all that many games...and don't forget you're talking to someone who's still living in SD (standard def.) goodness.

I'm all about Rez, so much so I'd be willing to spend real life money on DLC for it.

If they get Ikaruga HD with Co-op, they'd basically force me to upgrade to a Live Gold subscription.

I went through the campaing twice and its ok not the best but definitely not the worst. I did expect alot more than i got from the graphics however sadly disapointing

Uncharted lacks the impact, but has the uncanny valley effect.

Screenshots don't do Uncharted or Gears justice though, the animation is amazing for both and it's a complete shame that Uncharted didn't sell better (even though it does seem to have legs in most countries).

I don't really know what big titles the PS3 has slated in the coming months, but I suspect Uncharted will keep selling at a decent clip for a time.
