| They are aware, which is why they don't have a problem with it. It's OTHER SHORT GAMES WHICH ARE HIGHER PRICED which are the problem.

| Your all too young to remember paying $60 for SMB back in the day. It is short. Really games have only gotten longer. What it seems they need to do is take out save anywhere points.. and only allow you to play though a whole level, then it wont seem so short... as every time you die you start at the beginning... or at the very best a midway checkpoint...... But of course then we would bitch about not being able to save. The biggest problem with gaming right now. People not knowing how good we have it these days... there was once a time that maybe 2 decent games would be released per system per year.. now we get more then that although we have to sort though the shovelware to know whats what. Then: The average game back then was 4 hours long at best. Now: the average game is 9-15 hours. (RPG's break this big time though) Then: The average amount of decent games per year... 2. Now: 5-6 decent games per year. Then: Friends had to come over to play (unless you had the atari modem) Now: You can play against people all over the world. Seriously I think a lot of people need to put down the controller and go outside once in awhile... spread the game out.... oh and play every mission in the game, they may be side missions but they are part of the game.... I love it when people complain a game was short but they only did the main quest/mission/whatever. Also if Normal skill is too easy go up a few levels. |

| In no particular order 1. Short games 2. License games in general 3. Casual games that serve no practical prupose 4. Studios that think graphics are all they need and thus never add anything new. They just make the game prettier. 5. Live (sorry I hate paying for online) |

| Short games don't bother me, I play 2D shooters still (amongst other Golden Oldies). If a game is 6ish hours long, it means I can chill out on a Sunday and finish it. Shitty licences and rush jobs are nothing new. I actually think the overall quality is higher. I can't remember a time when I was so behind on playing and buying games I personally thought were 'must-have' titles The worst thing in gaming at the moment is the RRoD. I've a 17 year old Megadrive and 15 year old Neo Geo in my house working just fine. But I'm frightened to play my 360 in case it dies. I haven't started Lost Odyssey because I know the thing will die before I finish it.
