| I didn't use a guide. The game isn't exactly very hard.

| Finishing the game and collecting every heart piece/bug/fish on the first playthrough with no guide in 30 hours? You must be some kind of oracle.

| I wouldn't say boring, I'd say EPIC! Ok it's a little drawn out, but like you say, it's all worth it.

If a game can't draw me in enough to finish it by that point, then what? It's not like I haven't given it a fair shake. But when even a flawed games like Lair and Armored Core 4 can provide enough interesting gameplay and/or story to keep me playing more than Twilight Princess, there's something wrong with the formula. To answer Power666's question, I'm not totally obsessive about getting bonus extras, but I do go out of my way to get them when they're readily accessible. The problem I find with TP is that there is so little of the "low hanging fruit" type of bonus powerups and collectibles. Almost every single minigame/scavenger hunt has a low return on time investment, and while I don't mind the occasional bout of extended lunacy, it gets old pretty quick when you spend an hour wandering around doing boring combat inside a dungeon for one fifth of a heart piece. Really the only thing that kept me going for the majority of what I've slogged through is Midna's presence, being how she(?)'s really the only character you might actually care about in the whole story (most of the others I'd consider being prime candidates for the Darwin Awards).

| Who gives a shit about the heart pieces? And Midna is with you for the whole game, the other characters fade away pretty early on. [So duh] Finish the game and we'll talk.

At this point I'm pretty sure I'd rather finish Ninja Gaiden Sigma than Twilight Princess, since that really more of a time issue than an interest issue.

| Twilight Princess Rocks. 52 hours with everything done except for the cavern of whatever it is. CBF with that shit for some rupees, who give a fuck. OOT is gaming gold, but to be honest, Twilight Princess to me is identical to OOT with a graphical upgrade. They're both awesome. why did he banned this time? |
