Halo 3 the same game but Brawl not?

Let me makes things CLEAR here, I love BOTH games. This is going by things I have heard all over the place. They say Halo 3 is the same game as Halo 1 and 2, just with new levels, weapons and prettier graphics also crappy story and boring online play so they bashed it to the death of it but Brawl gets the praise and glory to be new and innovative with high tech graphics. I wonder, why is it? I beaten both games, played Brawl for over a month now (Jap version-English) and well, I think it is the same game with new levels, weapons, characters, prettier graphics....the story mode is GARBAGE, I wonder who told me that it will have FF story quality, oh and the online is trash.

If I remeber correctly, It did lose some gameplay points for being too similar to it's predecessors.

Yes, and yes, although that's just from what I played of Brawl so far. Unlike Melee vs. the original, Brawl isn't just "plain better". Melee was an improvement over the original in every way, but Brawl isn't an improvement in every way (Since they're removed some characters, for instance). Kinda like with the Halo games, I thought 2 was an improvement in every way over the first game, but 3, although better, not so much.

Pichu? Doctor Mario? Roy? Young Link? All replaced by better characters or simply removed for bein crap. Mewtwo is a sad removal.

From what I can see, Brawl is an improvement in every way.

Im not "choosing" Melee over Brawl, Im just saying that I *COULD* go back to playing it if I got bored of Brawl, because there are a few things I liked better in it.
