The bit about hardware cracks me up. World of Warcraft scales massively. I ran it on 5 year old hardware and it was playable.

Sony's definitely hitting the crack-pipe here. No console can compete with the PC sphere for the MMO market.

I'd say out of all the consoles, the PS3 stands the biggest chance of launching a decent MMO, due to the keyboard and mouse support.

i'm sure it'll have a big fanbase but nothin near WoW, you've got to have lots of balls to say all that and try and top warcraft...other than that, i ain't touchin it, mmo's aren't my thing

Man, sony must be hitting more then just the crack pipe to think that they have a chance of overthrowing WoW. I mean seriously, if every single PS3 owner bought this game, they still wouldnt come close to having more users then WoW. And the part about every PS3 having online, thats a big advantage over the PC? What person has a PC and dosent have the internet? There are lots of console owners out there who have never hooked up the network...So now that im done being all serious about this...im gonna go play some WoW
