| Im gonna have to say its either CD rom drives for consoles, or chips for cartridges (like the DSP chip for SNES and the EA Sports battery chips for the genesis)

| The answer to my question was 2007. Good eh? Nintendo provided consumer support for the SNES till last year. I think they ended N64 support at the same time too
