OMG I really hope he changes his mind, this would really kill the series for me personally.

I've learned that in Miyamoto interviews, don't take anything at face value. He's more random than a senile granddad, nothing is literally as it seems. And besides, this is a retrospective comment, so he never did.

Hey what about, I don't know, creating a new IP in first person view. Why did it have to be an established franchise?

He's just basically saying that with the exception of Metroid Prime, Nintendo doesn't have ANY FP franchises. And the suggestion from Miyamoto about the terminator one sounded cool, what kind of drugs do the nintendo development team take?

It just seemed like Miyamoto was looking at their different franchises and trying to figure out which one he could do in first person perspective. Why not just make a new game altogether?

most of you guys saying Nintendo needs a new IP realize that Nin. has made more IP new IP than anyone else right?

and on top of that when a new IP comes out who buys them?

this is what always happens

"we want new IP"

-IP comes out, gets good reviews all over-

sales???? sub par

"we want new IP"

proof? Psyconuats and some others games you never heard of
