| Here are some various stats in regards to the numbers from this month. The 360 dropped 28% from the previous month, while the PS3 dropped 27% and the Wii lost 1%. The 360 passed the 10,000,000 sold mark over it's lifetime and now sits at 10,086,000, which leaves average monthly sales at 336,200/month. The Wii is close to 10,000,000 as it has reached sales of 9,511,000 with an average each month of 528,389. The PS3 still has a few months to go before it reaches 5,000,000 as it has total sales of 4,240,000 or a monthly average of 235,556. For the year-to-date numbers the Wii has sold 2,141,000 units so far in '08, while the PS3 is at 994,000 and the 360 is at 935,000. Average monthly sales so far this year have the Wii at 535,250 which is 1.3% above it's lifetime monthly average of 528,389. The PS3 has been selling 248,500 units per month so far this year which is a 5.5% improvement over their lifetime average of 235,556. The 360's average for this year is at 233,750 which puts it down 30.5% from it's lifetime average of 336,200.

| It's a bit harder to expect people to just go out and buy a new console at this time just for the one game. GTA should sell some consoles but the higher price tag could have scared some away, especially at the end/beginning of a month like it was. I think next month will give a better gauge as to what kind of impact GTA will have on the two consoles.
