NPD April, released!

So I thought I'd build up the hype for the last months NPD results. Any guesses what the sales are going to look like? How much will GTA4 affect sales of the 360 and PS3?

This is the month that the 360 will pass 10 million units sold based on the NPD, and the Wii should get to within striking distance of that same number. As far as predictions, no comment.

Well, who knows what their totals would've been otherwise. Plus, compared to last month, which was 5 weeks, April's only 4.

I loled that Mario Kart Wii sold more copies than GTA for PS3.

The Wii has a billion more consoles sold. Mario Kart should've sold more than GTA IV for 360, too.

Umm not really i would say there was more hype for GTA than MK by at least 4:1. You can't blame everything on install base.
