lol Wii hate? I think people love this Console the most. I think the PS3 is the most hated or anything Sony then 360 is hated. The majority of people love the Wii and bash the other systems. Spendil is a nasty member with nasty thoughts and nasty threads with nasty ideas of the nasty, I expected Wii<3Wii with him.

Most of those showing Wii love are just those who jumped on the bandwagon. Long time gamers have seemed to trend away from the Wii recently. As of right now the PS3 tends to be the console with the most positive aura around it, at least amongst the traditional gamers.

There is Wii hate throughout avid graphics centric gamers who are happy for the evolution of gaming to remain stagnate (just improve the graphics on shooters and thats it etc). Which is fine.

Lapsed gamers and people not interested in spending weekends at home on the couch fragging online and laughing over voip seem to be those interested in the Wii. Obviously such gamers arent going to have as great a presence 'online'.

When Wii was launched you would have thought they couldnt even sell a single console if you went by the general consensus from forum-dominating xbox fans.

A lot of those statments are pretty hard to beleive...

Generally portables are extremely easy to dev for, since the games cost so little. PSP I'm not sure, but an emulated DS game isn't going to work very well usually.

I'm seeing games like carnival doing extremely well on the wii, so I don't think consumers are turned off at all...
