i just browsed by VGChartz a quickie and this question has sparked a huge debate over there. So I'll ask you: Which do you think looks best (purley based on visuals, game play etc is a whole other topic) I'll post my own opinions later (for me it's pretty obvious) but I just wanted to hear some of your opinions first ![]()

Crysis definitely has more colours, and may be sharper. I've never played MGS4 so I really wouldn't know exactly how it would look. But i'd say each game has there better shots I geuss.

I think MGS4 looks better. Crysis has more colors but MGS4 looks more real.

Back in high school I programmed Donkey Kong in QBASIC. I've always been partial to the graphics we had in that.

Difficult one. I've played neither game but from the shots the graphics in Crysis look clearer, crisper and therefore better for me. However, imagining the shots moving I would think that MGS4 has more realistic graphics although with slightly more blurry edges

i like crysis largely because it is not done in shades of brown. Why is dull equated with realistic so much?

Crysis looks better than everything and will still be the best for quite awhile but MGS4 is the better game IMO. Crysis was good until towards the end when the plot went down the drain.

| You've must have only seen act 1 of MGS4 which is based in the Middle East. Have a look at some of the other levels and you will see that the game is not completely brown and dull at all.

High res crysis shots (resized) vs lower res mgs4 shots .. hmmm... After playing crysis and only playing a small amount of mgs4 id have to say as an actual *game* mgs4 is leaps-and-bounds better. Crysis is brighter and has some really nice flora but it looks too plastic. Crysis appears to be more detailed in stills, but the animation in mgs4 trumps that.
