|  DOOM⁴ Now In Production Doom 4 announced…and that’s pretty much it at That VideoGame Blog To some this may be old news but I would just like to see what you people think about the fourth installment of this franchise?

3rd was a little disappointing.. not that it was a bad game.. just that it wasn't great either , but since id tech 5 is set up to handle outdoor environments too, I can imagine the 4th being much much better.

John Carmack himself said that Doom4 will look "three time better than Rage". I don't know if that's possible but I guess we'll have to see.

I liked Doom 3 because I waited so damn long for that game, so yes a lot of hype from my side. But the game was damn scary (I made myself a rule to only play it when it was dark outside)

My computer back then couldn't handle FEAR  And now I'm so frikking bored with FPSs so I will probably never play one again

To be honest I don't think I've ever actually played any of the Doom games. I might have played the 1st one very briefly but nothing more than that. I guess I've pretty much always been bored with FPS's.
