Sony: PlayStation 3 überholt Microsofts Xbox bis Jahresende
Dienstag 3. April 2007, 12:43 Uhr

So:

UK: ~1M
Alemaña: 253K
France: <500K
Spain: Bomba
Australia: 153K

Looks like Reggie was bang on the money.

p.s.

lol@Sony PR's "we will be the best-selling next-gen platform worldwide this year". Please carry on pretending Nintendo isn't there, it makes it funnier.

EDIT: Hacked sources in since this is now "ya rly" debate material.

You dont need to know how to speak it, you just need to be able to read it.

Otherwise, you can probably get a vague idea by using Babelfish.

This says that M$ has tricked 253,000 Germans into buying FB2s. This is all you really need from the article.

For bonus lulz, you can dump the rest in Babelfish for the Sony PR.

Well, it's not a big surprise that Germans would side with a Japanese company over an American one.

What are the numbers quoted at the bottom supposed to represent?

Edit: I got it now... forget that question.

I thought that would be clear from context. They are the FB2 LTDs for the PAL nations.

I figured it out shortly after posing the question. Sorry.

I don't know much German beyond "heil" and I couldn't even tell you if I spelled that correctly!
