The only thing this new contract does is allow Ubisoft to use the name royalty free. They paid Mr Clancy a lumpsum to use his name versus a percentage of the sales as they were previously doing. |

| If you want to know about sad selling of names you have to look at a guy named Brian Heaton. He's been in the goalie equipment business for a long time. I think he started off CCM and sold his last name to them and made the "Heaton" line of equipment. Eventually through disagreements or whatever he broke off to make a new pad company with somebody else and used his first name and made "Brian's." Of course wouldn't you know it he had a falling out with them too. Them when he went to make his own company he found his name had already been sold so he had to make it "BHG" Brian Heaton Goalie...
