cuz the games that depends on the gameplay are the games that taking the console up, not gamenames. If it depends on the latter, the DS wouldn't have a chance to compete with the PSP. I'm not saying that intellectual property like mario and zelda can't make a difference.

and I may add that both (what you called wiimote-stylus) provide a completely new way of game experience.

particularly the second point which really makes the Wii the next DS and proves my point!!!

if the Wii is going to follow the Ds path, more 3rd parties will support the wii.

the ds started out with a little 3rd party developers. when this developers saw how the ds is doing, 3rd party developers started pouring in.

who knows this might happen to wii xd

FFIII for the ds has sold a lot that is why FFXII decided to support the Ds.

Third Party has already considered the Wii as a benefitial console that cannot be ignored. Check the Wii launch line! Not to mention that "luring" studios to develop won't be hard, for two simple facts: the Wii is doing fine with a good launch plan, and that development for the Wii costs half what does the PS3 or the X60 games cost...
