There isnt one of these yet and as far as I know this game is PC exclusive, so post all of the Spore news you come across. Personally for me, Spore is my #1 game of 08 so far. If this game is confirmed multi-platform, I will request it to change to the genera threads sections. But as of now, post your thoughts and news on Spore.

Hopefully it wont, Spore looks amazing, especially considering Will Wright is behind it. I really cant wait for this game. Please, if you have any news, please post.

There is a DS version of Spore planned, though I'm not sure how cut down it'll be compared to the PC version.

Apparently, it's a graphically toned down version of one stage of life of spore. This stage of life, however, is said to be a bit more in depth than it is in the full PC package.



Anyway... I think spore has an amazing art design and is one of the most brilliant ideas in gaming history. I plan on buying it day one.

edit- I contacted the Spore team for an interview... they never responded.

How long ago did you contact them? And if its been longer then a week, try again. Dont just shoot them 1 email then give up, keep trying and hopefully they will respond.

Also, is there any evidence that it is coming to the 360? The only reason why im afraid to get it for PC is because my laptop is just...well its not stable lets just say. And the video card is only a 7400. But I mean Spore is suposed to have this huge online integration thing, so like other players planets and creatures will get uploaded to your game, so that when you're exploring space and all the other species you come across will be one that another person actually made. Live can do that easy. So yeah if anyone has any links to evidence of it going to the consoles, please feel free to post them.

If my system can't run Spore, I will be upgrading as needed. From the looks of Spore, it would have been the best game of 2007 if it had come out, and this was a good year. I'd give up Brawl ever getting released just to get Spore sooner.
