Default Fatal Frame IV Revealed ( Wii Xclusive, Suda 51, Published By Nintendo)

Quote:
The title is 'Rei ~Tsukihami no Kame~' or I suppose Fatal Frame: The Mask of the Lunar Eclipse. The key theme of the game is 'memories.' The pictures are from a 2 minute trailer that was shown.

Also, Keisuke Kikuchi returns as the producer, with Shibata Makoto as the director. Suda51 will also have directorial involvement as well. Summer 2008 release.

Those are CGi BTW

Hmmm... looks like Nintendo is trying to beef up its third party support.

I too am in the "never played" boat, but the game's concept and scariness have convinced me to get this game to bring "fear" to my Wii. If the controls are done right and the graphics look good...

fatal frame series is as scary as silent hill imo. you get glimpses of ghosts, and the sound merges with the ambient sound, so your always wondering whether you just saw a ghost, or "what was that noise?! oh, it was just the......AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" etc. very spooky game, the only problem is that it has the historically bad survival horror controls, but i guess thats key to the genre (bad controls make you feel more vulnerable).

a definate buy for me

Hmmm... creepy sounds coming out of the Wiimote itself would make the experience that much more interesting.

Fatal Frame is underrated as all hell. Awesome scary game, though pretty difficult, but that's in tradition of Tecmo, they make games that are generally hard compared to the norm, with the exception of their DOA games, they're more casual.

But where was 3 at? Did we not get that one?
