| Personally, I'm so stoked for Brawl I kinda stopped caring what others think of the Wii. I've got a Wii and a 360 so I'm in a pretty good spot. This video is retarded though, gotta admit. I stopped watching. I deal with enough dipshits at work. At least InsightGoalie was smart enough and mature enough to sell the Wii instead of sitting around just bitching about the thing. Props.

| I bet this happens every gen. "WTF THIS NES DOESN'T HAVE ANY GAMES, I'M SELLING" One Year Later; "SO I BOUGHT A NES, YEAH SUPER MARIO IS PRETTY SWEET I GUESS" "WTF THIS SNES DOESN'T HAVE ANY GAMES, I'M SELLING" Repeat. I think the 'tuggy opinion' is becoming fast outdated (Not to contradict myself, it's still mainstream) and I think we've seen a lot of that recently. Every Nintendo console has a solid library by the end [shit, the middle. one third in.] of it's lifespan. Eh, people have rocks in their heads.

| I figure once I get ahold of a PS3, I won't really care or worry about which console wins. At that point the only thing that will matter are the tons and tons of games to choose from. My poor wallet.

2. I remember a quote from The Great MasterSword which I agree with and went something like "The Wii strikes me as the console that you pick up near the end of it's life to play all the great games on it, not the one which you buy near the start and wait through the droughts to play those games." Reminds of my beloved Gamecube. I still have it and I still love it dearly, but now that I think about it I picked it up maybe 3 1/2 to 4+ years into it's life, so there were already hundreds of great games to get for it. Maybe I wouldn't have loved it so much if I had picked it up near launch, as I did with the Wii. I still like my Wii and I enjoy it, but not quite as much as the Cube. <3 |

| The cube had Melee a month or so in though. Wii has had to wait longer. Brawl is coming soon.

1. What do you mean about the SNES? No first year game drought? I don't have an encyclopedic knowledge of the SNES library, but I thought the first year was all about Mario All-Stars/World (Although it was pretty solid front to back, right?) 2. Same could be said about most consoles. I think it was still worth owning day one, the 'waiting' is [not quite officially, but very close to] over.

| Actually the SNES kicked a lot of ass right out of the gates. And I'm not just talking Nintendo's games either (although a lot were dropped within the first year to make it that much better). Games released early include Contra 3, Actraiser, Final Fantasy 2, Extra Innings (bad ass baseball game no one remembers), Super Castlevania, Super Ghost 'N' Ghouls, TMNT4, Desert Strike etc...
