Default Apple creaping into the gaming market with new iPhone development kit.

A sign of things to come?

Quote:
As far as games are concerned, the iPhone SDK also lets developers make use of the phones accelerometer - motion sensors that allow the phone to know where it is located in 3D space and respond accordingly. Pocket Lint reports that Apple demonstrated the technology with a game called Touch Fighter in which a spaceship was controlled by tilting the phone. EA and Sega, given two weeks to develop an iPhone demo, showed Spore and Super Monkey Ball, respectively. "We think we're years ahead of any other platform for a mobile device," Forstall said.

Is this the first piece of evidence that Apple may enter the video games market?

Last time I checked, the PSP and DS were "mobile devices".

Apple claiming that they're "years ahead" is pretty amusing in that context.

For a mobile phone, it's quite advanced, but the new Nokia N series will be miles ahead of the iPhone.

THE iPhone IS GOD!!

No matter how many times I mess around with a friend's I always find myself amused by how much ahead of everything else it is.
I hate small plastic buttons, the ones on my Moto and DS are painful. The best bit about the DS is the touch screen.
MULTITOUCH ALL THE WAY!!

I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo getting me an iPhone now

I'm about ready to upgrade my phone. I have a Nokia 6822, but I'm going to upgrade to Nokia E90 Communicator.

Look at the buttons, it is worst than I imagined it to be
That what I call small-plastic-button hell.

I don't like Nokia I worked for them and I'm still angry at them for giving me a shit salary for the work I did.

Hence my strong distaste for that brand.

I just wish you could have said that you want any other brand (except HTC) instead of a iPhone Pirate
