That article is so true, there is someone i Know who has bought a Ps3 just for GTA, no other reason.

He does not care or know what Blu Ray is
Has no internet connection in his house
Only owns Need For Speed, and waiting for GTA with no intention of buying or retning a single game until then

Another thing to consider, when we're talking about the "I only play GTA" crowd is whether they know and care about the RRoD. Even casual gamers don't exist in a vacuum, and the RRoD has gotten such a huge and continual amount of negative press (deservedly or otherwise) that it's hard to believe that most people looking to buy a new console wouldn't have at least heard of it - or more to the point, know someone who's experienced it.

I've been wondering for a while if this has more to do with the ascendant sales of the PS3 over the 360. It's not really so much that the PS3 has gotten all that much better (the game library has, but the 360's has improved just as much over the same period). Pricing has at least gotten closer, but the PS3 IS a more expensive console, so what's driving the decision? Blu-ray in some cases... but I don't believe for a moment it impacts a majority of PS3 sales.

Seriously, I don't think there's anyone on this entire site who doesn't know someone who has had a RRoD'd 360. If the hardware numbers don't turn around for Microsoft in April/May, I think this is going to be the first place to look for reasons why.
