| I noticed recently a lot of games shops in my area (NW) are reconfiguring their shelf space. The retail outlets around here now have PS2 > PS3 > 360. The smaller games shops have started to get rid of GC and Xbox1. Is it the same all over? |

| GC and XBox1 have been relegated to the bargain bins for ages, and now they are difficult to get hold of. If you count racks it used to be 360: 3; Wii: 2; PS3:1 and PS2: 4 Now it's more like 360:2; Wii: 2; PS3: 3 and PS2: 3 Estimates based on personal count from 3 stores in the Oslo area. |

| I basicly haven't seen GC games since 2004. Onløy toy stores that don't hold Xbox/newer stuff still have/ever had GC.

| No, the game shops I go to are still equal. I see conglomerate markets like Wal-Mart killing off Xbox and GCN altogether in some places though. |

| lol at sheff I went into Gamestation the other day and the Shelf space had increased for the Wii and PS3. 360 had the most, closely followed by Wii and then PS3. I think the PS2 had the 4th most and then i didn't even notice anything else. Thye were all pretty equal though and seemed quite messy! |

| The last time I was in Game, PS3 and 360 had 2 blocks each, but 360 has 2 more of used games, while PS3 has the used games shoved at the bottom of the new games shelf

| At my local walmart: There's 2 dedicated 360 shelves, and a 360 shelve that has mostly 360 games but has a few random XBOX1 games and "dumps" of any games they have a crapload of copies for (this month's flavor is Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Wii), which is located on one of the endcaps. 1 360 shelf is basically all games released in the last 6-7 months and the other is games that came out from launch to new games. There's nearly 3 full Wii shelves, the 3rd one is partly taken by DS titles, probably the bottom 2 or 3 rows. 2 full DS shelves, the one that has the DS games in with the wii I already mentioned, and a DS shelve that's mostly full, has some gamecube and GBA titles mixed in. Then there's 1 PSP shelf that's full and another that is largely PS3 but has some PSP games and one that's largely PS2 but has some PSP games. There's 1 full PS3 shelf, then on the other endcap, is a "PS3" display that has some PS3 games (not even half as many as a normal shelf would have though) and has Eye of Judgement in it also. Other games like Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Buzz, etc. are actually not in these cased game shelves, they are just put wherever they have shelf or palette room. Games like DDR and Kareoke Revolution are put on the lower ends of the shelves where they put the game systems at, and for the most part, they are placed in the correct system areas (Example, DDR Universe 2 is in the 360 shelf space, Hottest Party and Boogie in the Wii space, etc.) Ranks of titles: 1) DS 2) tied between 360 and Wii, maybe a slight edge on the Wii's side, but its hard to tell 4) PS3 5) PSP 6) PS2 7) tied for Gamecube and GBA 9) XBOX The XBOX and Gamecube games will probably be phased out completely soon, and the GBA may last a little longer since they still have a couple GBA SPs for sale there. I imagine there will be PS2 shelf space of some sort until 2010.
