Game have come a far way over the years,the price has risen,the visuals sandards, controls and consoles have improved. As my first post to the community can I just ask a few questions.

1 How long have you been gaming and whats your fist game?

2 What's your favourite console and why?

5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?

Good first post. Hopefully for your 2nd post you'll answer the questions. While waiting for that, I'll go ahead and answer them.

1. The 1st console I owned was the NES which I got in 1989. I had probably been playing games for a while before that, stuff like playing in stores, and I think I had a few of the Tiger handheld games before I got the NES. The 1st game I owned would have been Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt.

2. My favourite console is the SNES. Due to getting the NES late in it's lifecycle and the SNES near the beginning of its, I spent most of my formative gaming years on the SNES. Looking back on it now, the gaming library was really packed full of some all time classics.

3. My favourite game is Super Mario World. Despite having cleared it multiple times, something about it keeps bringing me back for more. There are very few games that have been able to do that for me, and this one is the best. The only game that I got on the Virtual Console.

4. Out of the current gen of consoles I own the PS3 and the Wii. My overall playtime between the two is probably something like 99 to 1 in favour of the PS3. It's really no contest between the two. As of tonight I'll own 17 games for the PS3, so I don't know what people are talking about when they still claim there are no good games available for the PS3. With the Wii I've owned it for 11 months, and when I bought Mario Kart yesterday that was the first Wii game I had purchased in 10 months. It's an OK console, but it doesn't stand up to the PS3. I don't plan on owning a 360, for one because I really don't like Microsoft and also because there are really no games on the console that I feel bad that I've never been able to play. If I don't feel that I've missed anything, it really gives no incentive to buy the console.

5. I'm not really the type that gets excited about upcoming games. Too many years of delays can do that to a person. Since GTA IV comes out tonight I guess I can list that as a game that I'm excited about, but honestly there aren't many other games that I can list that I know for sure I'll be getting this year. Possibly Resistance 2 and Motorstorm 2, but I wouldn't say I'm excited about them.

1 How long have you been gaming and whats your fist game?
A long time, I had an nes first and played random games I don't remember, but then Sonic and genisis came out, it was amazing. I liked my Sega more than Nes because the damn Nes console wouldn't play the games, and it will mess up during the game, you can blow in it, piss/shit in it or ask genie man to make it better but it still messes up ,more times than not.

2 What's your favourite console and why?
I don't have a fav console, only fav games because half the games get ported to a console so it isn't the console that makes it, only the games

3 Whats your favourite game and why?
Street Fighter,Sonic 1-3. I love the characters, I love the colors and nice vibe it gives and the music was amazing, it makes you remember them forever, oh and the killer ass gameplay. First Fluent fighting game and Sonic is like you were on crack, so fast.

4 What do you think about next gen console and the games on them? alot of freaking money. Wii dissapointed me, piece of shit! I get games for it once every 8 years. Only thing I like in it is Smash bros brawl and Okami, the damn PORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh and Smash brawl don't need to use the forcely nunchuck up your ass! I dislike how cocky they are and say wiimotes are the future and controls are boring and past and yet, they have controls as an option for all the games or wiimotes dont need to be used at all really, random waggle.

PS3 would of been sexy but I have a 360 first but since they both almost have the same games, 360 is cheaper and had more games first at the time, 360 is yummy in that sense. That piece of garbage 360 dies on you though, but hell, it was ultimate orgasms while it was alive. PS3 is a big piece of cash absorbing mutant alien creature from that movie you saw. Damn thing only has metal gear that I want to seduce and sex. Ps3 does live forever though and has blueray icening. Hmmmmmmmm blue ray. So, all consoles suck ass, that is why I have all 3 and taped them together to get a decent gaming experience!



5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?
Street fighter HD remix, Street Fighter 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ninja gaiden 2, some random games I don't know about and RE5....welll I could careless but I like to watch people play it.

1. I've been gaming since I was 5 or 6
2. Either SNES or PS1
3. Hard to decide, but I'd say Xenosaga series or Final Fantasy (4 to 9)
4. I'll let you know 4 years from now, this gen war is only getting started
5. The next great JRPG, who knows what it might be? 2008 is still young.

3. well, once again i can't really give ya a straight answer...so its, Tetris, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Super Mario Bros. 3 or Mortal Kombat II

4. Well, pretty much good at the moment...My PS3 doesn't have many games but I do plan on getting more especially since there are alot of games for it coming out this year, my Wii is pretty much for party purposes, i got the game i wanted the most smash bros. and i plan on getting Mario Kart soon I just wanna know what nintendo has in store for us the rest of the year otherwise it won't be getting much play time...thought about getting a 360 for gears and halo and many others but it pretty much has the same games as the PS3 so it'd be a waste, i'll probably get one used (and hope its not the rrod type)...as for who's winning the war?...I think I'll wait a bit for its only been 'round a year and a half for the moment...

5. I'm pretty sure it'll be close to what everyone else is saying...but just incase
Metal Gear Solid 4, Resistance 2, Haze, Killzone 2, Alone in the Dark, Final Fantasy XII (& Versus) Resident Evil & Silent Hill 5 if possible, Soul Calibur 4, Street Fighter IV and many more I can't think of...

Don't even know. My parents had an Atari with a bunch of games that I used to play. Then the NES.

Either NES or 360...NES was great back in the day...360 rocks today..best controller too.

Hmm...Tetris, SMB3, COD4, Half-Life series

4 What do you think about next gen console and the games on them?

360 for me. Has great games, great online, best controller. I hate the Playstation controller...will never buy a Sony console if it keeps the dualshock. The Wii seemed intriguing at first, but at this point I see no compelling reason to get it.

5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?

Civilization Revolutions, GTA IV, maybe Fable 2.

Yah, I'm still here kind of...
1. Don't really know, I could go with since birth. In any case it was either Space Invaders, Pong Sports, Mouse Trap, Mountain King, Haunted House, Fathom, Target Fun, Congo Bongo, or what ever that ski race game was where you move the H through gates.

2. Don't have one but if where to go with something it'd be SNES. King for having both Nintendo and most of the RPG companies on one system.

3. Secret of Mana, to be honest nothing has beat it. Every subsequent Mana game has had problems, and no one else has combined ease of multi-player, story, multiple character w/ good AI, puzzle dungeon, and the right amount of complexity versus ease of various game systems(forge, random drop, ect.) into one ARPG. It's not that they couldn't do it, I keep hoping a new Mana game 'll get it right or maybe Crystal Chronicals, but as of yet no dice.

4. Honestly I think the Wii get too much of a bad rap from gamers, particularly the FPS gamers, and US big graphics companies. All in all it's lack of games comes down to "the developers caught with there pants down", then realised they couldn't just make a quick port of the games they were working on because of the Wii's limitations. As they had counted on the next big system being a "Hyper Graphics" system with the same old controls. You can see this with Capcom. First they slag the Wii, then turn around and move Monster Hunters, while making Zak & Wiki & RE Umbrella Chronicals. Of course it also has the no ones developing for consoles, we have the DS & PSP while we wait and see which is best system, game most Japanese developers have been playing.
PS3, well I can't think of anything at all the interests me on that system. I mean you could argue FF13, but I'd have to go with I have played a "new" FF since 7. I wanted to play 9 but they stopped making PC versions. The fact is I don't see any game that would make me buy one now, and the few that are coming there aren't enough to interest me. Besides it's more expensive than the 360 has no advantage(thats useful), and I can actually find games I'd want on that. As for the 360, I'm not really saying any more.

5. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World(assuming they finish for '08), FFIVDS, Summon Night: Twin Age, and to a lesser Extent Mario Kart Wii & Okami. Nintendo needs some info on things other than Wiiware and stat. Like where's Fragile, what happened to Oboro Muramasa Youtouden, is FFCC: the Crystal Bearers coming along, and what the ell is Nintendo doing after Disaster day of Crisis. Lack of news can bread lack of interest.

1 How long have you been gaming and whats your fist game?
I've been playing since I was like 8 years old. SNES was my first experience because my older brothers had it. At first I played alot of donkey kong country which was an incredible game. Mortal Kombat 1 was also a game I started out playing.

2 What's your favourite console and why?
I don't really have one, but with the way wii's going, I think I would choose it. SNES is definately up there though. Wii because I've really enjoyed alot of my games for it especially smash bros. brawl and mario galaxy. Smash bros. just has so much content, and mario galaxy is awesome platforming, graphics,bosses and controls.

3 Whats your favourite game and why?
Smash Bros. Brawl because it is just so darn addictive, and is way too much fun to play with friends. There;s great single player this time around too. Stage creator added so much to it, and there is billions of stages to begin with. The game just has so much to unlock too, and I love it.

4 What do you think about next gen console and the games on them?
Love wii so much for zelda, metroid, mario, smash, guitar hero, ssx blur, no more heroes, and mario kart. Don't own any others.

5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?
Still loving smash and mario kart. I'm looking forward to wii fit, boom blox, guitar hero 4 and wii ware. Whatever else nintendo anounces.

1 How long have you been gaming and whats your first game?
I guess I was 10-12. First games were pong and pacman.

2 What's your favourite console and why?
It's not fair to play favorites. I have yet to encounter a console without its good points.

3 Whats your favourite game and why?
Chrono Trigger. Endearing story, suitably convoluted, fun battle system, nice humor. What's not to like?

4 What do you think about next gen console and the games on them?
They are pretty sweet, all of them (to a varying degree). They all have essential exclusive games, the only decent option is to own all three.

5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?
Not too many, I don't hype easily; Fallout 3 is one, although it's more probably 2009. Haze looks nice too.

1 How long have you been gaming and whats your fist game?

The Snes was the first console I ever owned, first game I played on it was Super Mario World, not a bad start to gaming eh

2 What's your favourite console and why?

The Ps1 had nearly an unlimited amount of games, I was always excited about new games for it, Like Resident Evil, Silient Hill, ISS Evolution, Abes Odessey, Worms, Gran Turismo, GTA, Super Puzzle Figther , Driver, Tomb Raider , Metal Gear Solid the list goes on and on there are many games on the ps1 I would consider all time classics.

3 Whats your favourite game and why?

Final Fantasy VII, by far always has been always will be, no storyline in a game has had such an effect on me, I was so emotional envolved with such a genuis of story, the game was HUGE to and I still play get blown away when I play it to this day. Something about the way the story is told really makes you care for all the characters.

4 What do you think about next gen console and the games on them?

I only see 2 next gen consoles, and a last gen console with a motion sensor controller. So out of the two nex gen systems I love them. Both have great games, and offer more than just gaming.

5 And finally, what games are you looking towards in 2008?
