Default Call of Duty: World at War set for November release!

Call of Duty: World at War
Developer: Treyarch
Publisher: Activision
Platforms: PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii
Release Date: North America - 11 November 2008 (ANZAC Day)
Europe - ?? November 2008
Single Player, Multiplayer & Co-op

The latest game of the popular series is under development and heading back to World War II.
Using the same Game Engine as it's widely-loved predecessor, Call of Duty 4, World at War will hopefully surpass all FPS' on the market today and raise the standards for gaming as a whole.

They are going to water down and kill this franchise if they keep releasing new games like DMX released albums in the late 90's.

If this game isn't successful, they have hit rock bottom i think. I also believe it was a bad idea not having Infinity Ward develop it.

Well first of all It is also coming out on the PS 2

Well they didn't really have a choice in the matter. Activison, Call of duty's publisher wanted a new call of duty game out every year. This meant that Infinity Ward didn't have enough time to make the games they wanted to. So a compromise was made that Infinity Ward would get 2 years to make another title and Treyarch would handle the ones in between.
