Wish arcades didn't have to die in america. I don't know if there dead in europe. I'm glad though, that I grew up in the age of arcades being pretty popular but seeing them die was depressing.

Over here, we have arcades, generally in entertainment complexes.

But I won't forgive the nearest one of the two near me for replacing Time Crisis 3 with Time Crisis 4. One still has Time Crisis 3 though, which is cool.

Man it's cool that theres still arcades there. I know of 2 here. 1 of them is pretty much dead except for a DDR and a few 2D fighters and the other is still going kind of good. Of course we have them in amusements parks, when I go to them I usually play some SF2 or SF3.

Ours are nearly all Light Gun games, racing and DDR, very few 2D fighters...

We just have the usual light gun games, lots of racing sims and DDR the only 2D fighters we have are StreetFighter but i've seen a lot of rare ones like MVC and CVS. It's ok, playing the original SF is fun though.

All I'm saying is that MAME is a God send. It's great to play classic arcade games that have been all buy abandoned.

I just played throught one of the few good Simpsons games there (hint: Konami made it), The Simpsons Arcade Game.

I love that one. I almost beat it with my friends in the Arcade (we were at robot Burns) but someone fumbled a quarter and we lost! The arcade shut down 2 years ago, but the old guy who owned it said we were the only ones who ever came close.

You want to play on Kaillera or something to that effect sometime?

I'll play you at SSB on PJ64k if you're up for it.

Don't have an N64 emulator, nor do I like Smash Bros all that much. Maybe I should get one for Goldeneye though...
