Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops was never on PS2 and it's easily the best PSP game out.

Grand Theft Auto Stories games were ported TO PS2 from PSP, and the PS2 version was cut down as it lacked the multiplayer features of the PSP version.

Mercury is one of the best puzzle games of the past 10 years and it's a PSP only game, never appeared anywhere else.

Loco Roco is probably one of the most original games on either handheld.

That's just a stereotype, a few games were ported and they were awful since the PSP is more like a PS1.5 than a PS2 and had a few issues, but there's some real gems in the PSP catalogue.

That's the sequel, which was made by a different developer. The original had a more realistic visual style and was only on PSP:

Mercury Meltdown was on the PS2 too, but it apparently flopped there.

Notice the Ignition entertainment logo obscured by the IGN logo. Same game, same publisher.

Different developer, Ignition developed the sequel, but Awesome developed the original.

Gamecube sold 21 million, and is considered to have done quite poorly.
