I think this is the problem with most gaming sites. They review all games worth playing between 7 and 10. Anything below that is crap. An 8 should mean the game is very good, but to most gamers it means there are some severe problems with the game.
Actually Edge is one of the few gaming journalists that actually utalise the full 10 point scale, it's just that if you compare the score to other publications and to what the fans fap about it is a slow score. In fact, the lowest score Bioshock recieved. Also the problem isn't just that most reviewers use a 7-10 scale, it's that most gamers consider anything less than a 7 as crap which is why the reviewers use a 7-10 scale. It's a massive circle of doing something because they think something and thinking something because they are doing something.

In comparison to Bioshock's 8; Halo 3, SMG and The Orange Box all recieved 10s.

I didn't know the minimum age was 20 for that game.

I play pokemon ... It's actually one of the better jrpgs. Not that I dwell in the whole gotta-catch-m-all stuff, but it's an enjoyable game.

But then again: isn't that the beauty of any nintendo game? That both younger and older people can enjoy them. The basics are easy, but to get 100% you'd have to be pretty hardcore.

I'm not saying pokemon isn't a good game, I enjoy it as well. It's just obviously marketed at kids. Granted to be very good and learn the different breeding techniques, etc... You have to get pretty hardcore into it.

Should I get the first one, or just skip to the 2nd one?

depends if you like the story or not

but Chibi would say get them in order regardless cuz after you've played 2 there's no goin back
they're both good games, but it's easier to go from KH1 controls to KH2

going from KH2 to 1 could be annoying

also the GBA game has some story in it also, but KH2 should be able to fill in enough info alone

It sounded like the GBA version was nothing like the other games. To me it sounded like a pile of garbage to be honest... Wasn't that the one based on some sort of odd card game?
