| You wouldn't think it, you wouldn't ever consider the possibility, but the PSP has more good games than the DS. Seriously. Take a look: http://www.metacritic.com/games/ds/scores/ The DS has 73 green games, with 42 games rated 80 and up. http://www.metacritic.com/games/psp/scores/ The PSP has 95 green games (we're not counting Advent Children), with 51 games rated 80 and up. Discuss.

| I've wanted a PSP for just this reason for some time now. Well, this reason plus homebrew and emulation.

| Yes,the emulation adds a whole other level of appeal to the PSP.

| Wow, this thread coming from the guy who was telling me a few weeks ago about how review scores don't matter at all. Not that I particulary disagree but I just find it ironic.

| Yeah, I looked at the psp list. I thought 'meh'. Any of the games that I would wanna/just gotta play, I can, on other formats. The ds homebrew scene is just as good, if not better (If only because the ds has a battery life of more than 40 minutes) |

| PSP has other review-standards; Not so good games on PSP = Green'd.

| Scores are one thing, but just because a game scored high, doesn't mean it is appealing to everyone. I'm not dissing on the PSP library, it's just that some of us just enjoy the DS library more. What's true on the big consoles is also true on handhelds. And yes, the DS homebrew scene is pretty kickass and coding DS homebrews is just as kickass |

| Just glancing at those lists, as far as I'm concerned, the PSP games are way more interesting. I also have more games for PSP. |

| I think for me it boiled down to the DS library in general being new, innovative and somehow seemed more energised (but yes it has some HUGE turkeys as well), while the PSP basically felt like I was playing a PS1.5 on a tiny screen with horrible controls (PSP claw came on much much quicker than DS cramp does) Yet to see a PSP slim though, and I do aim to get one at one point but the PSP will be solely used for homebrew and that wierd blobby game. Another way of looking at the scores though could be (and it's fun doing this): DS >= 85 : 19 PSP >= 85 : 15 DS >= 90 : 3 PSP >= 90 : 0 Interestingly I own 2/3 of the >= 90 scoring games and the other 1/3 is on pre-order |
