| So i picked up a few days ago the new Zelda game, the phantom hourglass. I must say , am really really happy with the purchase ![]() In my opinion it is remarkable how this system , DS , gave such a fresh feeling to such an old ,but beloved ofc ,franchise. Am looking for games which exploit the system's main feature at the best way. In this thread i want to mention some and i wish i d see some of u posting good games that am not aware of which feature good use of the stylus and are overall a good purchase. So New Super Mario Bros(Mini games, only!) Trauma Center:Under the Knife Legend of Zelda:The Phantom Hourglass

| that new game, Professor Layton and the Curious Village, is supposed to be a really good DS game. And be on the look out for Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword. That features all stylus play, and it looks slick. I enjoyed Starfox Command and the Brain Age games a lot too. As for games that dont really use the stylus at all or not much, look into Mario Kart DS and the Castlevania titles.

| Im selling Hotel Dusk actually.Yea its not a bad game, and in general i have enjoyed in the past point and click adventure games. However, this game for me grew dull.Am afraid this might be the case with Phoenix Wright as well , although i notice that it has better reviews and it is considered a very good purchase. Am kind of looking for games that u have, u know, this blast with the stylus.More of an action genre games/mini games offering multiplayer. Ninja Gaiden might offer this and the Professor Layton is looking good.Brain Age games are fun as well , mhm.

| Kirby: Canvas Curse uses the stylus as a paint brush, it's a great short game.

| Animal Crossing Wild World. You can do everything by just using the stylus. Advance Wars (though I haven't tried Days of Ruin yet) can be controlled either through the classic button style or just by clicking on the units. Meteos, 100% stylus controlled puzzle game Tetris DS has the touch and puzzle modes that uses the touch screen Nintendogs, touch screen and microphone use Brain training games Just like Hotel Dusk, Trace Memory does take advantage of every DS feature, but just like Hotel Dusk, it's short lived and better as a rental Touch Detective and other various point/click adventures Geometry Wars Galaxies. Oh you'll end up with hand cramps for sure, but that game controls perfectly using the touch screen and D-pad Asside for that, there a re a few FPS styled games on the DS that use the touch screen as a virtual analog stick. hmm.. that's all I can think of right now. |
