Default Reasons to buy a PSP...

...If u are a happy DS owner.
from what i reckon PSP will never grant me the gaming expirience i take from DS.DS has more good games and a cool innovotive gameplay.
However i reckon PSP is more of a "multimedia cool-gadget thingie".

What can i do with my ,say, new PSP?Could i download games from the PC and run them in the handheld? Is the PS3-PSP connectivity that great?I can indeed stream movies with Wi-fi from my PS3 to my PSP while having a nice cockeil in a hawai wifi spot?

Instead of searching the web which wouldnt be too hard i guess i thought of asking here.

1. If you run custom firmware, your PSP can do a whole lot of things like run games in emulation and even play downloaded PSP games
2. The Remote Play feature is pretty good, but I have to admit, I've only streamed locally, not over the internet.

Basically, just run a custom version of the system software instead of the official one.

I haven't, but I know people have, I have no room on my memory stick to try it out sadly. I have Castlevania here download to try when I get a bigger memory stick.

but really , this Remote Play feature is so tasty.I imagine my self on vacation ,relaxing somewhere being in the mood to watch a movie.I call my brother -, "hey bro! , download this and that movie and put it to the PS".And then i chill out and watch it in the hotel or so.

I dunno how practical it is but its such a nice idea.I hope it works well.

There's a few third party ones, but I've found the Sony ones to be as cheap or cheaper than the third parties.

He wouldn't even need to put it on the PS3. You could share it from the PC to the PS3 and then watch it through remote play on the PSP. I've tried a couple times though and have been unable to get remote play to work while away from home.
