Default Good GBA Games?

Although I've had a DS for awhile, I've never really used it's GBA capability. But seeing as it spent a few years on the market, I'm sure there's some great GBA games. I think I'm gonna pick some up to help get through drought season. So, what games on the GBA are worth getting?

Oh man, I have so many yet I'm drawing a blank.

GBA is a great system for your 16-bit ports. Playing some of those games on the go is fantastic. If you loved your Super Mario World/Link to the Past/Phantasy Star I suggest you track those down.

Tony Hawk 2 was a mighty fine game.

Mario Kart Advance, Zelda The Minish Cap, Mario and Luigi were a few great Nintendo titles. I'm totally drawing a blank to games that weren't Nintendo/ports.

Do not track down Super Mario World.

The button layout is messed up on GBA and, as a fan, I found it virtually unplayable.

Final Fantasy VI and Final Fantasy Tactics Advance are good ways to go.

It's around $10 now. Nothing can compare to the SNES controller but I did not find it unplayable at all. It certainly got the job done and it had a bit more replay on it because of the "mini achievements" (by this I mean it kept track of how long it took you to do each level, if you got all the dragon coins, beat the game etc...)

I never owned a GBA, but here are some games that I've enjoyed playing on emulators:
Drill Dozer
WarioWare inc.
Advance wars(you should probably get days of ruin instead)
Super Dodgeball advance

I enjoyed Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, personally. I've put so many hours of my life into that game.

There's a lot of great GBA games out there.

Some of my favorites were:

Mario Kart Super Circuit
The castlevania games
All of the Super Mario Advance titles
Final Fantasy IV and VI advance
Sword of Mana
the Golden Sun games
Metroid Fusion
Advance Wars 1 and 2
Wario Ware (the original one, wasn't a fan of tilt)
The Tony Hawk games (they played surprisingly well on GBA, I am better on the GBA games than on the actual home console games)
Link to the Past/Four Swords and Minish Cap.
Phantasy Star Collection (would have been perfect if it included PS4, sadly it didn't, but PS2 is worth it alone anyway)
Tactics Ogre: Knights of Lodis (superior to the filth that is Final Fantasy Tactics Advance)

These should hold you over for a while. All of them are fun and provide a lot of replay value.

Forgot to mention Gunstar Super Heroes, great game, I prefer the Sega original because it had multiplayer, but it was great fun.
